Sometimes, you need a little motivation to do things. You know when you are feeling demotivated or depressed and you see a quote that can change your mood completely. Maybe not completely, but it perks you up a bit, right? Here are some quotes, and I'll tell you what I think of it. The meaning of this quote: Sometimes good things come to an end. It might be sad, but look at the bright side. It was great while it lasted. This quote is really good for when you've lost something or someone. You know when you look up at the sky and you see a star? (Maybe you don't because of all the bright lights, clouds and pollution) That star can only be seen because of the darkness of the night sky. Same thing for your life. The harder the things you are going through, the better you can do. This quote means that you can be the best, awesome, most fantastic person in the world, but there's always going to be someone who hates you. Or at least dislikes you. Don't let that discourage you. Haters gonna hate. You can think of the practical, real, smart solution for something, or you can be creative and do something different. Logic is not everything, sometimes you need an imagination to really win. Did these quotes encourage you? Or did you interpret them in a different way?

Sometimes studying can be kind of frustrating and hard. So the best way to study effectively is to create a timetable. The only problem is, how do you make a timetable? Don't fret, here's a simple set of instructions for how to make a timetable on Microsoft Excel. Note: This is only an example and is very unrealistic. Make sure you are realistic when it comes to making your timetable. You might not know it, but in your mind, there's an island. Not really an island, more of a, town, I guess. This place is called Imagi-NATION. (you see the play on words?) Imagination is the most bizarre place. Anything can exist, as long as the person can think of it. There can be towering snowy mountains next to sunny beaches and glowing stars falling out of the sky. Settings and places from stories too. The people who live in Imagination are characters, from stories or ones that you created. When you read or write a story, the characters decide to move in to Imagination. There is also a factory where characters, places, and fascinating stories are developed. Sometimes, Imagination has rainy days, where nothing can process, and no new ideas can be created. The best way to avoid rainy days in your Imagination is to read more, so new citizens can arrive. You can also try something new so there's a variety of cultures in Imagination. You should tell other people stories, so that THEY can be inspired. I hope you liked that little piece of writing and I hope it fired up your imagination :) Imagination Click on the link above for a website that sparked my imagination. It's fun to play around with. I included a picture of it below. Remember, anything's possible in Imagination! Have you ever looked at pictures of people with different coloured eyes and wondered, I wish my eyes were like that? There's an easy, mess-free, cost less way to change the colour of your eyes... in a picture at least. Pixlr is a photo editing program similar to Photoshop, but a little more basic, easier to use, and free. It's online, so click on this to get the link. It's best to start with a simple picture of an eye from Google, and then start doing real pictures of yourself. . Hope you have fun with this quick tutorial! You can also try this with hair, but in a different way.

Imagine you are lying on your couch, just watching television leisurely. You want to change the channel, but the remote control is all the way on the table, with is almost a kilometer away! (exaggeration) So you point your finger at it and focus your eyes on it. It levitates in the air and floats towards you.
That is what is called TELEKINESIS. (I need to practice spelling that) Telekinesis, also called Psychokinesis, is the extraordinary ability to move objects through mind power. Lots of people say that they have done it, but scientifically, there's no proof it exists... yet. Telekinetic People Some amazing examples of telekinesis- Nina Kulagina. She was a woman who supposedly had TELEKINETIC powers. Here's a video demonstrating her ability. If you scroll down to the comments, there are a few interesting conversations where some people agree that it's possible while others believe that it was a propaganda, with magnets or strings behind the scenes. In fact, in 1:28, you can see a bit of string or something. What do you think? The popular Roald Dahl book Matilda also has examples of telekinesis. History of telekinesis When did this bizarre theory that you can move things with your mind form? It has bemused people for centuries but around the late 1800's, people actually started to believe it could be a scientific ability. There's a long history of people claiming that they've been able to magically bend or move objects without touching them, and telekinesis has been ambushed with mockery for ages. Why do people think that telekinesis is not possible? Scientific View There is no known proof that the human brain can BEND or MOVE physical objects.People claim that brainwaves are responsible, but scientifically proven physics say that brainwaves barely go an inch beyond the skull. So what do you think? Do you actually think that you can MOVE things with nothing but brain power? Have you ever tried? I personally think this is an interesting and slightly frightening subject, do I want to find out more. If you've thought about starting a blog, great!
