Hi there! I'm extremely sorry that I haven't been blogging for ages! I guess that I have been just too wrapped up in my own thoughts, and the fact that New Year is almost here! Yesterday was Christmas, and I enjoyed it a lot! I wonder how you might have spent YOUR Christmas. Did you huddle by the fireplace, listening to melodious Christmas tunes? Or did you have a scrumptious dinner with the whole family, laughing and chatting like there's no tomorrow?
Anyway, New Year's Eve is just 5 days away! I think you'd better start working on your New Year Resolutions. Have you thought about what your goals are for 2015? What you want to ACHIEVE? If you didn't, then this post will help you. First, think of the negative things that happened this year. What happened that made you sad, angry, hurt, etc.? Make a list. This is called List 1. (E.g. You got bad grades this year.) Then, look at List 1. What could you have done to prevent these things from happening? To make them better? Write these down. This is List 2. (E.g. You could have studied more, concentrated more.) Next, make a list of your goals. You have already listed how you could work towards your goal. But what is the goal? Make a list of your goals. This is List 3. (E.g. To get good grades next year.) Next, make a short list, you should have a lot of points on List 3. Which ones do you REALLY want to achieve? Which ones are REALLY necessary for a better year? Do this so you can focus on important goals. Make another list called List 4. (E.g. getting good grades is necessary, while winning a competition isn't.) After that, you need to think about how you will work to achieve your goals on List 4. Set tasks that will help you work towards your goal. Create challenges for yourself, get encouragement from others, etc. (E.g. You already wrote on List 2 that you would like to study/concentrate more. You could get lessons from your teachers after school, challenge yourself to get a particular grade, form a study group to help you study, etc.) I hope this helps, and sorry if it was a bit confusing! I hope that you have some awesome resolutions for the New Year! Feel free to post them in the comments below! P.S. Here's something you can do if you're bored: Google things you have always wondered about like- Why do we yawn? How is Cotton Candy made? Has anyone ever broken the World Cup Trophy?

Hi there!
I guess once in your life you must have met a mean person, who literally wants to make your life miserable. Have you ever thought, why do they want to hurt me? Instead of doing that, there are other things you could do... Just ignore them. If they're going to be so mean, they don't deserve to be noticed. Ignore them, and tell your friends to do it too. Eventually, the bully will get bored and stop being mean. (I hope.) You can stick with your friends. True friends will always be by your side, so if you see the bully, just stay with your friends who'll hopefully defend you. Just remember, NO VIOLENCE! If the bullying gets really serious, you'll have to tell a teacher or parent. You might feel like you're being a wimp for not handling it yourself but you HAVE to tell someone. If not an adult, tell a sibling or a friend. Anyway, I hope that helped! Also, I have been getting a few negative comments on my blog, and this is to everyone who's reading this... Maybe you don't like my blog. Maybe you have some advice to make it better. Maybe you think what I write is not so helpful. But there is no reason to be negative. If you don't like it, just click the close button and don't ever come back. Just don't use those hurtful words. Here's a random question, can you answer it in the comments below? If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? See you later! Writing poems is not a breeze,
It's not easy to whip up poems with ease. It can rhyme, but it doesn't have to, You can write a million poems, or one or two. It should be amusing, interesting to read, So take your time and don't write with speed. Hey there Readers! Do you like poetry writing? Here are a few tips... I personally think that rhyming poetry is the most fun to read, but you can try acrostic, freestyle, diamante or any other poetry styles you know of. Think of a good topic for your poem. You don't want readers to fall asleep while reading it, so pick something amusing. (If the topic is your choice) If the poem doesn't quite come out the way you thought it would, try again in a different way and experiment with different styles and vocabulary. Poetry writing is really fun since you can be creative and let your imagination run away with you. (but don't run too far, the poem has to make sense) You can also try writing tongue twisters, sentences with all the words starting with the same sound. They don't always have to make sense, for example... Tall Timmy torments Tiny Toto twice tactlessly. So be imaginative, readers, and become writers! Hey there readers! After reading my blog, I bet you wanted to create one too (hopefully, because writing a blog is fun!). This post will help YOU create a blog of your own! Step One: Decide a blog topic. The most important thing about a blog is a blog topic. Before you start, decide what you want to blog about. It could be about your travels or advice or on a particular topic or anything you want. My blog is about everything. Step Two: Find a website to create your blog. Of course you can create a html website, but using website such as Weebly which already have blog templates is much easier. I personally prefer Weebly, but you can use Wordpress or Edublogs. (This tutorial is for Weebly.) Step Three: Create a name and domain name for your blog. Think about your Blog topic and create a name and domain name (the website address that you put in the box at the top.) For example, if your name is Tia and you want to write about your travels, you could have the name TiaTravelsNow at www.tia-travels-now.com Step Four: Choose a template and start creating your website. There are dozens of cool templates and themes for you to try out on Weebly so choose one and start personalizing it according to your Blog Topic. (If you're using Weebly, visit Weebly.com and Create an account. Then press Create Site and follow the instructions. Then you get templates to choose from.) Step Five: Your First Blog Post. Now that you've created your website, Start your first post. You'll have to introduce yourself, Talk a little about your blog and why not add a picture? Make it so exciting that people will want to come again and again. Step Six: Keep on blogging when you can. Don't forget to blog! Make people like your blog a lot so they come back even if you didn't write for a long period of time. Tips! *A good idea is to write down your blog post ideas somewhere (I use Evernote, an app, on my tab) so you can use them when you are idealess. *Also write down posts on your computer so you can just copy and paste them to your blog if you're readers are hungry for more posts(I'll start doing that now!) *Go to the Contact tab on my blog and send me the link to your blog. If I really like it, I might write a post about my readers' blogs. And that's it, In 6 Simple Steps! Hello! Do you ever feel bored? I do. A lot.
