Dear 2016,
We've had a great 365 days with your friend 2015, and had to say goodbye last night. Now we welcome you. We are going to spend 366 days with 2016, and I hope that this year, this year will be different from last year. 2015 was a great year, but we can't ignore the terror attacks, the hundreds and thousands of lives taken and how grim and lifeless the world was last year. Maybe this year will be better. Maybe this year will bring light to the world for a brighter future. There are a few reasons that we are glad to see the back of 2015. Remember those terrifying hoverboards that were all the rage last year? Not to mention The Dress that ruled the internet for a few weeks as people debated whether it was black and blue or white and gold. Enough about 2015, what about this year? Can 2016 be the year where the things will change? Will USA see its first woman president, Hilary Clinton? Or will Leonardo Di Caprio finally win a well-deserved Oscar? We'll never know until we live through this year. Through all the tragedies, through all the rejoices, through all the heartaches and lives lost, through all the celebrations, 2016 will be a great year all the same. 366 days later, we will be saying goodbye -maybe the same way, maybe not- to 2016 and welcome 2017. Happy New Year! January has begun, time to start on those resolutions. Here are my resolutions: Blogging
