Hi! I know, I know. I didn't post for a really long time but I've just been really busy and I guarantee that this is going to be really interesting to read. Before I start, I have a few things to say. First, you might of noticed that I added a few pages to my blog hoping it will be more interesting to read and check out. Let me know what you think about it in the comments section. Second, the winner of the challenge this week is Anonymous. Congratulations Anonymous! I am going to stop doing challenges because I don't think a lot of people visit that page. No more challenges. Now, let's begin! Do you have an Apple or Android product? You might think that Android is better if you've only tried Android or you might think Apple is better because you've only tried Apple.
I've tried both products and I just can't decide which is better! There are pros and cons for each device platform so I decided to do a little research and write a whole blog post about it.

Really Sorry that I haven't posted for ages and ages and ages! I will not do that again. Today's post is dedicated to humour and laughter. I shall start with some jokes. Jokes:- Q: What do you get when you cross fish and an elephant? A: Swimming trunks. Q: Who earns a living driving their customers away? A: A taxi driver. Q: What goes through towns, up & over hills, but doesn't move? A: The road! Q: Why was there thunder and lightning in the lab? A: The scientists were brainstorming! I know, pretty corny, but still, do they make you laugh? Funny Videos:-You have got to watch these! So Funny and Cute! Makes me burst out laughing! Today, my fellow readers, is my birthday and I sure am surprised at the number of gifts and surprises that I got yesterday and today. One of the best things I got was a pet. No, it wasn't a cat or a dog or a fish or any ordinary pet... it was a turtle. Yes, a real live turtle swimming around in its little tank(His name is Tee-To).Seriously, you should have seen my face when a turtle in its tank was produced from a bag. Today is his birthday so don't forget to wish Tee-To many happy returns of the day. You can do that in the comments section. My party was yesterday and all my dear friends came to the party with presents I enjoyed so very much. A fun day it was, with games and laughter and of course, cake. Let me try to describe it to you. It was a mouth-watering round chocolate cake with a delicious-looking strawberry and chocolate sticks (I think that's what they were, they looked like tiny little brown and white skateboards with no wheels) in the corner. It had 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHREYA' in swirly letters with red icing on it and crunchy round balls on the edges. Do you see that awesome cake in your mind? If you don't, here you go... So Delicious. Bon Appetite! Does it match the description? Today -so far- is the best birthday I've had so far and I'm sure I won't have a better one. But then, that is what I said last year... Thank you to all my friends and family who made this day so special for me. :) Pollution, as you know, is a problem, quite a big problem. But what have you done to stop it? Nothing? Well, visit the following link. It's a cool website and I recommend that you check it out.
http://www.breathingearth.net/ If you look at the key, you will notice that when a country glows red, it is currently emitting 1000 tonnes of CO2. The ones that glow most frequently are America, China, Russia and India. Looking at the bottom right corner of the page, you see how many tonnes of Carbon Dioxide have been emitted since you have started watching. Just taking a look at that, you see that the world has been emitting a huge amount of CO2. What can you do to help? Lots of things! One little action that helps keep the environment clean can make quite a difference. So go and put that can in the recycling bin or join the neighbourhood environmental organization. Remember, every little thing that you do makes a difference. So make it a good difference. Look out for more pollution posts and a PPT on pollution that will be posted here. Who knows, maybe you could spot a pollution poem by me. If you have read yesterday's Gulf News, you might have spotted an article describing the 8 year-old Emirati boy, Ali Abdullah Hassan Al Ahbabi, who published a book, 'The Giraffe and the Dove.' The multi talented boy had written the narrative and had illustrated it, the drawings reflecting his story. Who knows, some day, you might be flipping through one of his best-selling novels. As I said in my previous post, all you need is Hard Work and to Believe in Yourself and you'll find that your dream comes true. And of course, patience. Without Patience, you won't accomplish anything. There are more famous accomplishers which include young Mozart who wrote an opera at the age of 14 or 20 year old Bill Gates who co-founded Microsoft. (Yes, 20 isn't very young, but still, it was a great thing for his age.) All these young accomplishers have done something in their life. Even if you are a bit old, it's never to late to achieve your dreams. If you want to do something astounding but never had the courage, this is your inspiration, YOUR CHANCE. Reach for your dreams. Young Bill Gates, the co-founder and owner of Microsoft, a company known by millions of people worldwide. |
