Hi there! I'm extremely sorry that I haven't been blogging for ages! I guess that I have been just too wrapped up in my own thoughts, and the fact that New Year is almost here! Yesterday was Christmas, and I enjoyed it a lot! I wonder how you might have spent YOUR Christmas. Did you huddle by the fireplace, listening to melodious Christmas tunes? Or did you have a scrumptious dinner with the whole family, laughing and chatting like there's no tomorrow?
Anyway, New Year's Eve is just 5 days away! I think you'd better start working on your New Year Resolutions. Have you thought about what your goals are for 2015? What you want to ACHIEVE? If you didn't, then this post will help you. First, think of the negative things that happened this year. What happened that made you sad, angry, hurt, etc.? Make a list. This is called List 1. (E.g. You got bad grades this year.) Then, look at List 1. What could you have done to prevent these things from happening? To make them better? Write these down. This is List 2. (E.g. You could have studied more, concentrated more.) Next, make a list of your goals. You have already listed how you could work towards your goal. But what is the goal? Make a list of your goals. This is List 3. (E.g. To get good grades next year.) Next, make a short list, you should have a lot of points on List 3. Which ones do you REALLY want to achieve? Which ones are REALLY necessary for a better year? Do this so you can focus on important goals. Make another list called List 4. (E.g. getting good grades is necessary, while winning a competition isn't.) After that, you need to think about how you will work to achieve your goals on List 4. Set tasks that will help you work towards your goal. Create challenges for yourself, get encouragement from others, etc. (E.g. You already wrote on List 2 that you would like to study/concentrate more. You could get lessons from your teachers after school, challenge yourself to get a particular grade, form a study group to help you study, etc.) I hope this helps, and sorry if it was a bit confusing! I hope that you have some awesome resolutions for the New Year! Feel free to post them in the comments below! P.S. Here's something you can do if you're bored: Google things you have always wondered about like- Why do we yawn? How is Cotton Candy made? Has anyone ever broken the World Cup Trophy?

Hello there, fellow readers! I apologize for not being able to blog for almost an eternity! I've just been really busy but I have an awesome post for you guys to read. But first, let me take a selfie!
Selfies... have you ever realized how many selfies people take a day? Research shows that selfies are actually the worst! How many selfies do you take everyday? One thing is that people can find selfie extremely annoying. Would you like to hang out with someone who would whip out their phone every few seconds to take a selfie? Yeah, that's what I thought. People take selfies to brag and show off things like 'new designer clothes' or 'fabulous new shoes' . I would find that pretty annoying and if you do that, people wouldn't really like you much. So when taking selfies, it's better to stick with 'hanging out with my friends!' or something. Did you know that selfies are so very dangerous too? there was a schoolgirl called Isabella Fracchiolla who almost fell to her death on jagged rocks while taking a selfie. Next time you are posing for a silly selfie, make sure you watch where you are going... Have you ever realized that when people post all sorts of weird selfies on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and those other popular social media websites, it can be viewed by trillions of different people like friends, family, co-workers, teachers etc., and they all migh6 have different opinions about you by just looking at your selfies. You don't want to create a bad image for yourself, do you? Also, I'm not trying to offend selfies because I really like taking selfies too and they're cool. Anyway, Happy Holidays and I'll see you later! Wow! Can you believe that it's only 25 days till Christmas? and 30 till a new year? The year has gone by so quick! It seems like only yesterday the clock struck 12 and everyone screamed "HAPPY NEW YEAR! IT'S 2014!" Anyway, that's not what this post is about. This post is about Christmas! The Christmas Spirit is in the air and children prance around marvelous evergreen trees singing melodious Christmas Carols. The best thing about Christmas is seeing the look on people's faces when they see the present you gave them. Their lighten up and their mouth stretches into a wide grin for they're so happy that you got something for them. That's what Christmas is all about anyway. Showing people that you really care about them by getting them something special. Don't you want to make this Christmas special for someone? Get your best friend that pen she always wanted or get your dog a shiny new collar. It doesn't have to be expensive, you can just make a pretty card with a thoughtful message and a small gift. It's the thought that counts. Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone who celebrates Christmas. Enjoy the holidays! |
