You walk into a small place, kind of like a telephone booth. You type in the name of the place you want to go to and FLASH! You're instantly there!
Yeah, I know, it would be absolutely, fantastically, ecstatically amazing if that could happen. No more car accidents, plane crashes and etc., just a simple push of a button and you're where you want to be!
This would seriously make a difference to the world. There will be less accidents and crashes because you don't have to worry about bad drivers or pilots, the machine does it all. It would also mean that people wouldn't have to pay for fuel and people can get jobs by working at the teleporting machine repair company, I guess...
Just imagine. We wouldn't even need roads or traffic lights or anything! You just get whizzed automatically to your destination. The environment wouldn't get polluted and people won't get stuck in traffic jams! ULTIMATE!
Not so fast though. Teleportation is scientifically not possible yet, but who knows what those outstanding scientists can discover!!
I guess there are some negative points about it, but I can't think of any right now... Can you? if you can, just post it in the comments below! I hope you didn't mind that this was a super duper short post.
:) Adios! I'll see you next time! Also, if you'd like to know when I post a new post, just scroll up and click the FOLLOW ME! tab. The instructions will guide you from there! :P
I guess once in your life you must have met a mean person, who literally wants to make your life miserable. Have you ever thought, why do they want to hurt me? Instead of doing that, there are other things you could do...
Just ignore them. If they're going to be so mean, they don't deserve to be noticed. Ignore them, and tell your friends to do it too. Eventually, the bully will get bored and stop being mean. (I hope.)
You can stick with your friends. True friends will always be by your side, so if you see the bully, just stay with your friends who'll hopefully defend you. Just remember, NO VIOLENCE!
If the bullying gets really serious, you'll have to tell a teacher or parent. You might feel like you're being a wimp for not handling it yourself but you HAVE to tell someone. If not an adult, tell a sibling or a friend.
Anyway, I hope that helped!
Also, I have been getting a few negative comments on my blog, and this is to everyone who's reading this...
Maybe you don't like my blog. Maybe you have some advice to make it better. Maybe you think what I write is not so helpful. But there is no reason to be negative. If you don't like it, just click the close button and don't ever come back. Just don't use those hurtful words.
Here's a random question, can you answer it in the comments below?
If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
See you later!

We've all used it at least once. For communication, research, entertainment, whatever. But you have to agree, The Internet is very reliable. Imagine what you would do without computers, iPads, tablets, phones etc. for one day. It might seem easy but you actually use Internet a lot in your daily life.
Email can really be a good way to keep in touch. Who sends letters by post these days? Quick, reliable and you can add attachments. You can have a pen pal or keep in touch with a friend or relative that lives on the other side of the world.
Have you used Google Docs? It's an easy way to create a document that you can share with people. They can edit the document and you can see exactly who has done what with a colour-coded scheme. Amazing, don't you think?
Whatsapp, Skype and Yahoo Messenger are ways you can communicate. Skype lets you video chat from any device. Whatsapp is the free, easier way to text your buddies.
And then there's Google! You just couldn't survive with out it. Is there a question that Google CAN'T answer?
Anyway, I hope you like the internet as much as I do and use it a lot. See you later!
Have you been to a book fair? (If you live close to Sharjah, UAE, You can visit the one at Expo Center which is there till the 15th of November.) I have, recently, and it was AMAZING!
You should have seen the commotion, that Thursday. Dozens of people scuttled about, carrying endless bags of fresh new books. There were stalls set up for UK/US Bestsellers, Wimpy Kid Books, Books from India, etc. When I bought a new book, I took a deep breath, smelling that musty, papery scent of a new book. Here are some of the books I bought.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul By Jeff Kinney
Greg wants to spend his vacation lazing at home, but Mom insists that the family goes for a road trip. So the Heffleys pack up and hit the road. They meet endless adventures and problems along the way, but they make it to the end, somehow...
Anne of Green Gables By L. M. Montgomery
Anne is an orphan, and she is simply delighted when she is adopted by the Cuthberts. But the Cuthberts wanted a boy to help out on the farm, can they keep this talkative, joyous red-headed girl?
(Not finished reading, but so far, 4 & 1/2 Stars)
Try reading these books, and let me know what you think about them!
Until next time....
Writing poems is not a breeze,
It's not easy to whip up poems with ease.
It can rhyme, but it doesn't have to,
You can write a million poems, or one or two.
It should be amusing, interesting to read,
So take your time and don't write with speed.
Hey there Readers!
Do you like poetry writing? Here are a few tips...
I personally think that rhyming poetry is the most fun to read, but you can try acrostic, freestyle, diamante or any other poetry styles you know of.
Think of a good topic for your poem. You don't want readers to fall asleep while reading it, so pick something amusing. (If the topic is your choice)
If the poem doesn't quite come out the way you thought it would, try again in a different way and experiment with different styles and vocabulary.
Poetry writing is really fun since you can be creative and let your imagination run away with you. (but don't run too far, the poem has to make sense)
You can also try writing tongue twisters, sentences with all the words starting with the same sound. They don't always have to make sense, for example...
Tall Timmy torments Tiny Toto twice tactlessly.
So be imaginative, readers, and become writers!
