a) write down your feelings and then tear the piece of paper up. It's a metaphor for letting go of your feelings or
b) watch something funny or silly and laugh it out
But there are times when you should cool down. Here are some ways.
1. Stop and think for a minute before you actually do what you are going to do. Know that you might regret it later on.
2. Hold all your anger in and find a place where you are alone. Then, let out your anger by punching a pillow or something. (Just be sure not to hurt yourself!)
3. Rant. Though this might not work for everyone, talk to a friend or family member and tel them about your day. Even though they might not care, you'll feel better.
4. We've all heard of the count to 10 rule. This doesn't really work for me, but maybe it will work for you? Just close your eyes, un-clench your fists, start taking deep breaths and count to 10. If you're still in a rage, go to a 100, even 200, as much as you need to until you calm down.
So yeah, just chill when you're angry, and it will all work out fine.
And one thing, don't freak out and destroy everything like this guy.
